Kids are so curious. Children can do everything at once and believe they can do anything. They tend to live in a fantasy world with the brilliance and freshness and immediacy of childhood.
It’s important to help them maintain childlike spontaneity and their confidence.
Please, try to accept all their activities, no matter how odd they seem to you.
A babby can push his food around the plate. You can’t be angry with him. Perhaps at this moment he is busy with something very important for himself.
May be at that moment when your child walks in a huge puddle in a dirty clothes he exposes himself to new things. But most parents think only about the upcoming washing and try to get him out of the puddle.
Your understanding and acceptance in any situation will help your kids to reveal themselves better. They won’t be afraid to try something new. They also will be able to take responsibility for their actions.
Let him have a million different hobbies and interests. He will finally find his interest in life. Let him decide. All these skills and knowledge will be useful to him.
Egor had been playing football more than a year. This skill comes in handy at school. He plays football in the school team along with high scool students.
He also tried table tennis. He doesn’t play it anymore. But he tried - it’s a big step in his experience.
He enjoys swimming. He has been swimming for six months. That’s little time. But the benefits of swimming are obvious: a strengthens posture, all muscles are trained and swimming in the outdoor pool is very useful.
Egor had been visiting the art classes for 2 years. Now it’s easy for him doing some arts and crafts. He likes to decorate our house and his class.
His main hobby is chess. When he started playing chess, he was the smallest in the group. One day Egor’s dad suggested him to show ho to play chess. Egor liked this game. We took him to the chess classes at the age of 5. Since that time Egor is fond of chess. He took part in many competitions and showed good results. He still enjoys it.
But since Egor went to school in September, he decided to take a short break from chess. It’s his decision. We respect it. Once Egor has already taken a break for six months at will, and then made up for everything in a couple of months.
And it’s been my experience that it’s necessary to give children the freedom of choice and they will suprise you with their abilities and talents.
