Our first year of being on a healthy plant-based nutrition was a great examination for us. It was a time when our tastes were unstable and there were so many temptations around.

But we overcame these moments.

Of course, from time to time our son asks for something tasty. He haven’t ever tried candies or milk chocolate, because these products were restricted by gastroenterologist. But we always used white sugar before.

In fact, nowadays there are different variants of tasty snacks without sugar: handmade marmalade (we can buy it in the local market), vegan chocolate (it’s made of cocoa butter and kerob) and various vegan biscuits.

We found such a tasty chocolate cake in one of the raw cafes. It was Egor’s birthday cake this year.

In almost every restaurants with a traditional menu we can find grilled vegetables.

This year at the age of 7 Egor went to a private school. Most of the children at school treat each other with candies, which contain sugar. Of course, sugar-free organic lolipops are more healthy variant for children.

You can find various organic pops (8 flavors assortment) here.

During the first two years of being on a healthy plant-based nutrition we haven’t tried any ice-cream. But in Sochi we found a great place with a delicious vegan ice-cream. It contains nut milk and no sugar.
